Cyril Despres wins his third Dakar in Buenos Aires after a last stage won by his support rider Ruben Faria. In the car category, Carlos Sainz gets his first Dakar victory after resisting the ultimate attack by Al Attiyah, who wins the last stage for just 36. The Spaniard keeps a historical lead of 212 in the final general standings.

Tha Charlie’s job is done

It’s a sunny day in Buenos Aires today. The Charlies left the Bivouac yesterday morning heading to the Airport. This year’s Dakar Adventure is now finished, but Loctite is already preparing for the next one.

Many reparation even more challenges and every day new friends who thank us for the excellent service provided at the rally and the reliability of Teroson and Loctite products.

I am at the Hotel right now, heading to the Airport while in the city center the Podium ceremony will start this afternoon. It has been a wonderful experience to witness the passion of many people in different fields. The passoion for racing for the drivers, the passion for mechanics for the technicians and the passion for reliability of our charlies!

Both Robby and BJ came in at the Parc-Ferme at the same time. After delivering the race-documents they both made the hummer’s engine roar and made the cars spin in front of the cheering spectators. Dust, dust dust again….

Carlo Sainz wins the Dakar 2010

With only few seconds of difference from his team mate Al-Attiya Carlo Sainz wins the 2010 edition of the Dakar Rally for the category cars. Dozens of journalists gathered around his car when he came into the Parc-Fermé.

Congratulations Annie! Also this year she could amaze us, and fly to the lady’s top position. Annie was already wearing the winner’s blue cap.
